XRPL developers have released XRPL 3.4.0, the reference server implementation of the XRP Ledger protocol.

The upgrade introduces two new amendments, retires one, and adds bug fixes and build improvements.

One key feature is the introduction of the lending protocol v1.1 amendment package, designed to make XRPL more appealing to corporate and institutional credit markets.

The upgrade aims to strengthen core network security and expand institutional crypto DeFi adoption by targeting institutional credit markets.
