XRP Ledger RWA Trading Volume Surges 224x in 30 Days
XRP Ledger (XRPL) has seen a dramatic surge in tokenized Real-World Asset (RWA) trading volume, skyrocketing 22,473.29% to $7.03 billion over a 30-day period ending on October 5, 2026. According to data from RWA.xyz, this explosive growth reflects high-velocity institutional trading among a small group of large holders.
The XRPL’s RWA transfer volume spiked in tandem with the number of tokenized assets and holders. At the time of reporting, the network had 286 RWA holders, a nearly 14% increase over the past month. The network’s Distributed Asset Value (DAV), which tracks RWA tokens using XRPL as a distribution layer, rose over 8.8% to $498.80 million. With around 379 RWA counts, the XRP Ledger reported a $4.02 billion Represented Asset Value (RAV), indicating the blockchain’s role as a record-keeping layer for these assets.
As XRPL’s RWA transfer volume soared, the price of XRP also gained bullish momentum. Over the past 30 days, XRP’s price increased by 7.99%, trading at approximately $1.52 at press time. The token’s 24-hour trading volume surged by over 81%, reaching $2 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. This upward trend in XRP’s price is linked to the rising institutional adoption of the XRPL’s RWA sector.
The surge in RWA trading volume on XRPL comes amid regulatory developments, as the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently stepped up efforts to provide regulatory clarity, following delays in the Senate regarding the CLARITY Act.
