XRP Ledger RWA Transfer Volume Surges 224 Times in 30 Days
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has seen a dramatic surge in its Real-World Asset (RWA) transfer volume, rising by an astonishing 224 times over the past 30 days. On October 5, 2026, the 30-day RWA transfer volume reached $7.03 billion, marking an increase of 22,473.29%, as reported by RWA.xyz.
The surge in RWA transfer volume coincided with a rise in tokenized assets and the number of RWA holders on the XRPL. The network now has 286 RWA holders, a nearly 14% increase over the last 30 days. Additionally, the Distributed Asset Value (DAV), which tracks RWA tokens using the blockchain, grew by 8.8% to $498.80 million. With around 379 RWA counts, the XRPL reported a Represented Asset Value (RAV) of $4.02 billion, reflecting the value of RWA tokens recorded on the blockchain.
The massive jump in RWA transfer volume suggests high-velocity institutional trading among a small group of large holders. This trend comes as the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been working to provide regulatory clarity, although the CLARITY Act faced a delay in the Senate.
In tandem with the RWA transfer volume surge, the price of XRP, the native token of the XRPL, gained bullish momentum. Over the past 30 days, XRP's price increased by 7.99%, trading at approximately $1.52 at press time. The token's 24-hour trading volume also rose by over 81%, reaching $2 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.
