XRP Ledger Sees 150% Surge in Network Activity Amid Price Breakout
XRP's decentralized blockchain network, XRP Ledger (XRPL), has experienced a significant surge in activity. Transactions per closed ledger on XRPL have increased by 150.2%, reaching an average of 176.33 transactions per ledger.
This marks one of the strongest periods of network growth for XRPL to date. The increase in transaction-per-ledger appears to stem from broad-based growth, rather than isolated technical causes.
Total value transferred on the XRPL is also rising sharply. Payment volume jumped 140.8% to around 739.8 million XRP, and decentralized exchange (DEX) activity climbed as well.
