XRP Ledger Sees $2.82 Billion Seven-Day Volume, but What Does it Mean?
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) saw an unusually high seven-day automated market maker (AMM) volume of $2.82069 billion, largely driven by two newly created token pools.
The TIX pools, which exchanged TIX for other issued tokens, accounted for a whopping 97.24% of the total volume, despite neither pool containing native XRP.
These two pools were created on September 21 and listed the same TIX issuer and pool creator, with XRPL.to counting 69 XPM/TIX trades and 116 RLUSD/TIX trades in its rolling seven-day window.
The high volume reading is more a reflection of the provider's measurement rather than actual trading activity, as it does not establish independent trader participation or transaction values.
