XRP Ledger Sees 535% Surge in New Accounts as Payment Volume Hits 704M XRP

The XRP Ledger has experienced significant growth in on-chain activity, including a 535.2% increase in newly created accounts and a sharp rise in payments and value transferred across the network.

Data from analytics shows that 2,900 new accounts were established on the ledger, up from the prior period by over fivefold. Active accounts climbed 218.1% to 15,300, signaling intensified network participation among wallet holders.

However, the number of unique active users fell 70.6% to 140,000, suggesting that while more wallets are being created and existing accounts are seeing more activity, overall user engagement on a per-person basis has dropped.
