$XRP Ledger Sees Explosive Growth Amid Resurgent Price

The XRP Ledger has experienced one of its most robust growth periods in recent memory, with significant increases in key metrics. According to data from Bitget, newly created accounts on the $XRP Ledger rose by a staggering 535.2% over two days, reaching 2,900. This increase is part of a broader trend of growth across the network.

The number of successful transactions also saw a significant jump, rising by 80.8% to 1.7 million. Total transactions increased by 138.7% to 2.4M, while payments rose by 108.9% to 1.2 million.

The growth is accompanied by an increase in value transferred throughout the network. Payment volume increased by 894.3% to approximately $704.2 million XRP, while $XRP burned as network fees rose by 225.7% to $300.3.

The spike in activity coincides with a resurgence of $XRP's strength, which has seen its price rise from around $1.05 to almost $1.70 in late August. After reaching highs around $1.65, the price has since consolidated, trading close to $1.53.
