XRP Ledger Sees Explosive RWA Trading Volume Surge
The XRP Ledger has experienced a surge in trading volume for its Real-World Asset (RWA) tokens, with a 30-day transfer volume increase of 224 times. According to data from RWA.xyz, the 30-day RWA transfer volume on the XRP Ledger skyrocketed to $7.03 billion on October 5, 2026. This represents a 22,473.29% surge in trading volume.
The increase in RWA trading volume has been accompanied by a rise in tokenized assets and holder count. The XRP Ledger currently has 286 RWA holders, a 14% increase over the past 30 days. The network's Distributed Asset Value (DAV) has also gained 8.8% during this period, reaching $498.80 million.
The rise in RWA trading volume is attributed to high-velocity institutional trading among a small group of large holders. This increase has also been influenced by the recent regulatory clarity provided by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) through the CLARITY Act. The XRP price has also seen a 7.99% increase over the past 30 days, trading at approximately $1.52 at press time.
