XRP Ledger Sees Record-Breaking Surge in Tokenized Real-World Asset Activity

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) saw a significant surge in tokenized real-world asset (RWA) activity, reaching an all-time high of $7.02 billion in daily transfer volume on September 22.

This represents a 47,000% increase from the figure recorded a month ago and is largely attributed to the movement of Justoken's JMWH product, which accounted for over $7 billion in transfer volume that day.

The massive rise in transfer volume raises questions about whether actual investors drove this activity or if the asset manager itself carried out the large share of transfers.

The XRP Ledger's RWA metrics have also shown improvement, with distributed asset value excluding stablecoins increasing by 5.14% over the past 30 days to $498.7 million and represented asset value rising 1.97% to $4.10 billion.
