XRP Ledger Sees Record-Breaking Transfer Surge
The XRP Ledger has seen a significant surge in activity, with over 1.2 billion XRP transferred in just 24 hours.
This marks a substantial increase from previous months, with September's payment volume reaching nearly 1.16 billion XRP and the 30-day average standing at just 494.6 million XRP.
The recent activity is not solely attributed to increased value transfers; successful transactions have risen by 11.2% to 1.5 million, while overall XRPL dashboard displays 2.2 million transactions, up 23.9%. There were 757,400 payments, 18,700 active accounts (a 21.5 percent increase), and 24.1 percent more transactions per ledger.
However, the number of active users decreased by 17.3% to 155,300, suggesting that some of the growth may be due to larger or more frequent transfers among current participants.
