XRP Ledger Sees Record Transaction Count as Price Reclaims $1.43
The XRP Ledger processed 2.34 million transactions in 24 hours through September 18, marking an 8.9% increase from the previous day and exceeding its 30-day average of roughly 2 million. This surge in activity helped drive XRP's price to reclaim $1.43 on Friday, with a notable 8% move.
The network saw significant growth, with total transactions reaching about 2.2 million, up 23.9% from the day before, and successful transactions climbing 11.2% to 1.5 million. Payments came in at roughly 757,400, and daily payment volume reached about 1.16 billion XRP, more than double the 30-day average of 494.6 million.
The rise in activity was accompanied by a notable increase in active accounts on the network, which rose 21.5% to about 18,700. However, total active users dropped 17.3% to about 155,300, suggesting that larger transfers from regular users rather than new addresses contributed to the surge.
