XRP Ledger Sees Stable Latency After Recent Network Incidents

David Schwartz, former CTO of Ripple and primary architect of the XRP Ledger, shared an update on XRPL's infrastructure following recent network incidents.

Schwartz reported that his XRPL hub experienced two small incidents over the past two days where peer counts dropped and nodes lagged.

Investigating the issue, he found that it was not specific to XRP Ledger but rather a wider network problem. At its worst point, latency increased by less than 20%, with around 80% of peer connections remaining fine.

New data from Schwartz shows that connection counts are averaging 389 with stable latency.
