XRP Ledger Surpasses 500,000 Active Users Amid Transaction Surge

The XRP Ledger has reached a new milestone, surpassing 500,000 active users. This significant increase in activity is attributed to a rise in successful transactions, which rose by 48.4% to approximately 1.5 million.

This growth is notable as it coincides with a general increase in transaction activity on the network. The number of newly created accounts fell by 34.6%, while active accounts dropped by 26.9%. This divergence suggests that increased usage rather than new account creation is driving the surge in activity.

The XRP Ledger's performance is also reflected in its transaction metrics, with payments increasing by 53.5% to 705,100 and transactions per ledger rising by 131.2% to 140.26. However, this growth has not been uniform across all network indicators, as the number of closed ledgers decreased by 41.2%.
