XRP Ledger Surpasses 5B Transactions, Generates $1.9B Revenue
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has reached a significant milestone by surpassing 5 billion historical transactions, marking over a decade of on-chain activity in payments, tokenization, stablecoins, and decentralized finance.
According to data compiled by market analyst Diana, XRPL recorded approximately $1.9 billion in revenue over a 90-day period, excluding stablecoins, which is higher than Ethereum's accumulated $1.6 billion and Stellar's $1.4 billion during the same period.
The expansion of its ecosystem spans multiple fronts, with Gemini offering direct deposits and withdrawals on the network in Singapore, increasing accessibility to XRPL-based assets in the Asian market. Additionally, Mastercard has backed the upcoming Hackathon focused on payments with artificial intelligence, stablecoins, and credit products.
