XRP Ledger Trading Soars by 79% as Liquidity Expands Beyond XRP
XRP Ledger trading activity surged in the second quarter of this year, according to a new report from digital asset treasury company Evernorth. The average daily order-book volume on the XRP Ledger rose by 79% compared to the same period last year.
The total amount of XRP traded per day averaged $3.57 million during the three months through June, up from the previous year's average. At the same time, the number of accounts placing trades each day fell to 1,111 from 1,864, resulting in a significant increase in trading activity per account.
Evernorth's Q2 2026 XRP Liquidity Report also highlighted that order-book activity accounted for 81% of on-chain trading during the quarter, compared to 54% in the same period last year. This growth comes as liquidity on the XRP Ledger expands beyond XRP itself, with the average supply of $RLUSD, Ripple's dollar-pegged stablecoin, reaching $539 million in the second quarter.
