$XRP Ledger Update Hits 32% Adoption, Widespread Adoption Still Elusive
Ripple's XRP Ledger has seen an update to version 3.3.0 in recent weeks, and engineers are now monitoring its adoption across the network.
A discussion on Twitter brought attention to a key metric for measuring progress: the 'Sufficiently Updated' threshold of 80%.
RippleX software engineer Mayukha Vadari clarified that this threshold applies to the entire network, not just UNL validators.
Vadari stated that 80% is considered the bare minimum, with widespread adoption still a way off. Currently, about 32% of the network has updated to version 3.3.0, while 68% runs on version 3.2.1.
