XRP Ledger Upgrade Brings New Features and Improved User Experience
The XRP Ledger has been updated to version 3.3.0, bringing six new features to the network.
The update includes a feature called Batch, which allows users to bundle up to eight transactions into one, making it easier for retail apps to monetize and enabling delivery versus payment for institutions.
Another feature, Permission Delegation, lets institutions share control of specific transaction permissions with other parties without giving up overall control.
The Sponsor feature removes the technical barrier that requires users to lock up XRP to interact with the network, allowing companies to cover these costs on behalf of their users.
The update also includes Confidential Transfers, which hides balances for multi-purpose tokens but does not provide full anonymity.
