XRP Ledger Upgrade Gains Institutional Interest Ahead of Activation
Ripple's XRP Ledger upgrade, Batch V1.1, is gaining traction from institutional investors and commercial projects ahead of its potential activation on September 29.
The feature allows asset managers to group two to eight transactions into a single operation, reducing settlement risk in delivery-versus-payment transactions.
Asset managers are already preparing to use the upgrade, with RippleX's Head of Engineering Ayo Akinyele stating that commercial projects are being developed around Batch V1.1.
The current amendment has secured 30 votes out of 35 tracked validators, surpassing the required 28 votes for activation.
