$XRP Ledger Volume Skewed by Two Obscure Pools
A recent analysis of the $XRP Ledger (XRPL) has revealed that two obscure pools account for an outsized 97.24% of the seven-day automated market maker (AMM) volume.
The two pools, XPM/TIX and $RLUSD/TIX, were created on September 21 and list the same TIX issuer and pool creator.
According to XRPL.to's Sept. 24 feed, these pools generated a combined 2.82069 billion in seven-day volume, with 1.68 billion coming from XPM/TIX and over 1 billion from $RLUSD/TIX.
However, neither pool contains native $XRP, which suggests that the high volume reading may be more a result of the provider's measurement rather than actual trading activity.
