XRP Loses Ground to RLUSD as AI Wallets Favor Dollar-Pegged Stablecoin
The economic gap between XRP and RLUSD in AI wallets has reached a 105% imbalance, with AI agents preferring to process transactions in the dollar-pegged stablecoin. According to data from the XRPL AI Hub dashboard, over the past seven days, AI scripts spent just 209 XRP while processing 554,007 transactions. In contrast, transaction volume in RLUSD reached 602.27.
The gap in favor of RLUSD has settled at exactly 105%, suggesting that AI agents have no plans to return to using native XRP. This shift is directly linked to XRP's price behavior, which has become firmly trapped within the $1.38, $1.50 range after a powerful rally in August.
The average transaction size for APIs and server capacity on XRPL is just $0.0035, making XRP's current price of $1.4027 prohibitively expensive. As a result, automated systems continue to keep all transaction flows within RLUSD to protect their operating budgets from market swings.
