XRP Market Sees Dramatic Shift as Institutional Money Floods In
The XRP market is experiencing significant shifts according to asset manager 21Shares. The company highlighted four key changes in the XRP ecosystem, including spot XRP exchange-traded product (ETP) inflows, relatively low supply dilution, RLUSD expansion, and increased XRP Ledger activity.
Spot XRP ETPs have absorbed a substantial portion of new XRP supply, with 14.8 percent being absorbed in the first half of 2026. The share of spot ETPs absorbing new supply even reached 50 percent in May.
The inflows into spot XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) this year total $367 million, with total assets standing at $1.17 billion and cumulative inflows reaching $1.53 billion. This influx of institutional money is strengthening the link between circulating supply and investment demand.
