XRP Nears Breakout from Descending Channel, Eyes $1.21 Resistance
XRP continues to trade within a descending channel it has been stuck in for over a year. The token dropped from its $3.6 peak in July 2025 and has since formed lower highs and lower lows, keeping the price inside this established pattern.
Buyers have repeatedly defended the lower trendline whenever XRP came under heavy pressure, while sellers have capped recoveries near the upper trendline, keeping the token on a gradual downward path. The structure of the correction has remained consistent throughout the past year, with each rejection occurring along the upper trendline.
XRP currently trades at $1.06, approaching the apex of the pattern, and could soon face a major test if it breaks above the channel's upper trendline at $1.21. If this happens, it could open the door to a broader recovery for the token.
