XRP Powers AI Payments as Ripple Expands Developer Toolkit
Ripple has expanded its developer toolkit to support AI payments using XRP and RLUSD. The updated XRPL AI Starter Kit, which includes automated transactions through standards backed by Stripe and Tempo, allows developers to build agents that pay for services using these assets.
The move positions XRP in the machine-payments market, which is emerging rapidly as a new form of commerce. AI agents need to purchase data, computing power, and settle small charges while completing tasks, requiring quick settlement with predictable costs.
DigiTap, a live financial app, has linked its services to $TAP buybacks, burns, and presale entry, providing retail investors with a smaller payments bet before the token becomes publicly traded. The app fee profits from DigiTap are allocated 50% towards open-market $TAP buybacks and burns.
