XRP Price Breaks $1.60 as Whale Transactions Surge

XRP price surged past $1.60 for the first time in eight months and hit a high of $1.62, fueled by whale transactions and new wallet creation.

Cumulative XRP ETF inflows reached $1.73 billion as of September 22, with Bitwise adding $19.16 million to its XRP spot ETF on that day alone.

XRP futures open interest topped $4.1 billion, surpassing Hyperliquid and Zcash in the process, while futures volume across derivatives exchanges reached $9.4 billion compared to $2.2 billion in spot volume.
