XRP Price Drops Despite New Yield Options
XRP has dropped about 51% over the last year despite new ways to earn yield on the coin. Doppler Finance announced a partnership with Flare Network, which will give XRP holders direct access to Flare's FXRP vaults through Doppler.
The announcement was made at the XRP SEOUL 2026 conference and claims that this partnership will allow XRP to be used as 'working capital.' However, no specific details on the launch date, yield rate, fee structure, or minimum deposit requirements have been revealed by Doppler or Flare.
XRP has seen a decline in value despite the continuous series of new yield developments. In December 2025, Ripple-linked token holders gained a method to earn yield without selling, and in May 2026, Flare collaborated with D'CENT to connect hardware wallets to XRP yield vaults.
However, it seems unlikely that these yield options will affect the price of XRP. The benefits primarily go to depositors, who also face risks associated with smart contracts. Doppler's partnership enhances its offerings and Flare gains a new deposit channel, but enticing yield headlines may not translate into higher demand for XRP.
