XRP Price Hangs in Balance at $1.50 as Momentum Flatlines
XRP is currently trading at $1.50, and the market's momentum has effectively flatlined. The MACD histogram printing at 0.0000 is not a neutral signal, it's a warning that this could be the last gasp of a deceleration before a pullback or bulls taking a breath before the next leg.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 57.21, keeping XRP firmly in neutral territory. Buyers haven't committed enough to push momentum into the upper range, and sellers haven't overwhelmed the tape either.
According to Tony Kim's analysis, there are two possible scenarios for XRP's price action over the next few days: a bull case or a bear case. The bull case has a 40% probability and involves XRP reclaiming and closing above $1.54 on volume that exceeds the recent daily average of ~$250M.
On the other hand, the bear case has a 60% probability and involves the MACD's flatline resolving to the downside. If this happens, taker sell aggression will persist, long liquidations will accelerate below $1.47, and the next meaningful support at the SMA 20 / $1.43 level will get tested within 10-14 days.
The smartest play right now is to wait for the $1.54 break or the $1.47 break, and size accordingly when the market tips its hand.
