XRP Price Hopes for $1.65 Breakout Amidst Ripple's Expansion Plans
XRP price is expected to hit $1.65 according to analyst EGRAG Crypto and Dark Defender, who notes that XRP's latest move aligns with his September 3 forecast marking the start of a new Wave 3 phase.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse says he does not consider himself an XRP maximalist and supports several cryptocurrencies for different reasons, citing customer requirements rather than a single settlement asset. He argues that XRP may work best as a bridge asset in some payment flows, while a stablecoin may provide a better match for the customer's needs.
The technical outlook arrives as Ripple continues to expand its payment infrastructure around stablecoins and XRP Ledger assets. The $1.65 resistance area is now at the center of the latest XRP price prediction debate, with EGRAG Crypto identifying it as the main area to watch within XRP's long-term structure.
The setup also tracks the 33-month and 77-month exponential moving averages, which keep its longer-term XRP price roadmap unchanged. Projected levels at $7.50, $13, and $30 depend on XRP continuing to follow the macro structure, requiring it to move through $1.65 before these targets become relevant.
