XRP Price Prediction: Squeeze Between Shrinking Leverage and Rising Network Usage
XRP is trading near $1.40 after a wild few weeks, and its price has held steady. Despite some cooling in leverage, futures open interest still sits above where it started the summer.
The current setup looks like a classic squeeze between shrinking leverage and rising network usage. Futures positioning has cooled sharply since August, which usually means the market has less fuel for a violent move in either direction, at least for now.
XRP's technical charts show that it is holding above its 20, 50, 100, and 200-day EMA cluster, with price near $1.40. Resistance sits in the $1.45 to $1.50 zone, lining up with a descending trendline. A daily close above this area could open the door toward $1.55 to $1.65, with $1.70 as a further target some chart watchers are eyeing.
