XRP Price Rally Driven by Institutions as ChainSpin Presale Surpasses $180K
The price of XRP has caught the attention of institutional traders after open interest in CME-listed XRP futures jumped by 36% over two weeks. This surge in open interest comes as XRP's price rallies from around $0.99 to $1.38, with some analysts eyeing a potential target of $1.50.
CME's share of the XRP derivatives market has increased significantly, rising from around 10% to roughly 17% between August 17 and August 31. This increase in CME's share comes as total XRP futures open interest across exchanges fell by 16%, indicating that the rally is not driven by a market-wide explosion in leverage.
In contrast to XRP, ChainSpin's presale has seen over $182,000 raised, with Stage 1 exceeding 36% sold at a price of $0.0125. This presale strategy allows investors to purchase tokens before the first planned price increase and before public-market price discovery begins.
ChainSpin's project already operates a live, licensed crypto casino and sportsbook with thousands of games, which will attract buyers who can participate in rewards, betting benefits, and its post-listing token economy. The project plans to use revenue-generated funds for open-market $SPIN buybacks after listing, which will permanently remove part of the bought-back supply from circulation.
The maximum $SPIN supply is fixed at 1 billion tokens, with no mint function planned after the token generation event. ChainSpin's Ethereum contract has completed a SolidProof smart-contract audit, and its roadmap targets a Q1 2027 token generation event and Uniswap listing, followed by broader CEX expansion in Q2 2027.
