XRP Price Recovery Hinges on October Upgrades and Breakout Above $1.52
The price of XRP has recovered to around $1.50 on October 4, as buyers defend the $1.45 support level. The XRP Ledger is approaching two possible protocol activations on October 8 and 9, which could impact trading interest.
The token has struggled to extend its late-September recovery, with CoinGecko data showing it trading near $1.50, up roughly 1% over 24 hours but down about 2.5% during the past seven days. The market capitalization stands near $94.7 billion, while 24-hour trading volume is close to $1.02 billion.
Trader Symba noted that a confirmed breakout above a descending trendline could open a move toward $1.55, while continued buying beyond that point could expose XRP to $1.63 and $1.65. However, a break below $1.45 could send the token back toward its 50-day EMA around $1.38.
