XRP Price Rises 48% After Trump Summit, Faces Resistance at $1.50
XRP's price has increased by 48% over the past week, recovering from its cycle low of $0.9877 on August 17 to around $1.48 today.
The rally began after US President Donald Trump held a crypto policy summit at the White House and called for the passage of the CLARITY Act, while the U.S. Treasury announced plans to double its long-term bond buyback program from $2 billion to $4 billion starting September 9.
XRP's Relative Strength Index (RSI) moved above 80 during the rally, signaling that it had become overbought and could face a pullback.
However, XRP is no longer in overbought territory after its RSI cooled to just above 60. The coin still faces several resistance levels, including $1.50, which it has struggled to overcome for eight months.
