XRP Price Rises Amid Dwindling Hopes for CLARITY Act Passage

Ripple's XRP price rose slightly on September 15 despite dwindling hopes for the passage of the CLARITY Act bill in its current form. Pro-XRP lawyer John Deaton warned that Democrats may still vote against the bill, even if President Trump agrees to their demands.

Deaton claimed that Senate Democrats have a strong anti-Trump stance and are more focused on gaining government control than passing legislation. He noted that these senators 'hate Trump' and would rather obstruct the bill than see him receive any legislative win before the November midterm elections.

Data from CoinGape prediction markets shows an 81% chance of the CLARITY Act failing, while XRP's open interest contracts on Binance and Bybit have seen a decline in recent days. Despite this, Bitwise's XRP ETF recorded $11.26 million in inflows on September 15, its highest since August 28.

XRP price is currently testing the resistance of a triangle pattern at $1.42, with bulls targeting $1.50 if it breaks above. However, the MACD histogram bars are negative and faded, suggesting that these bulls may be losing their grip.
