XRP Price Slumps as Bitcoin's Decline Weighs on Cryptocurrency Market
The cryptocurrency market continued to experience pressure on July 25, causing XRP's price to drop. The token traded at $1.09, a 2% decline over the past 24 hours. This weakness was partly due to Bitcoin's decline and Ethereum's movement lower.
XRP's technical indicators also suggested short-term selling pressure, with the token trading below its 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of $1.12. Ripple, however, continues to expand its institutional presence through European regulatory approvals and the expansion of its RLUSD stablecoin ecosystem.
