XRP Price Soars Amid Renewed Institutional Demand
XRP has been experiencing a surge in price despite recent bearish news. The token's market capitalization has climbed to $99.07 billion, and its 24-hour trading volume has gained 55.85% to approximately $7.37 billion.
The XRP community saw its largest cryptocurrency exchange hack of 2026 on September 26, but the token rallied on Friday following relentless institutional demand. United States spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have recorded about $52.95 million in cash inflows this week, pushing their net assets to $1.70 billion.
XRPL addresses with a balance between 1 million and 10 million tokens, known as whales, have accumulated 470 million XRP over the past five days through Thursday, worth over $724 million. This accumulation of funds has likely contributed to the renewed demand from institutional investors.
