XRP Price Stagnates Near $1 as Whale Buying Meets ETF Demand Weakness
XRP's price has been struggling near $1 due to conflicting signals from on-chain and market data. Despite the token's underperformance, large investors seem to be accumulating XRP, with Santiment reporting a 32% increase in wallets holding at least 1 million XRP over the past three months.
The trend suggests that major holders are taking advantage of lower prices rather than exiting their positions. However, exchange activity also shows reduced selling pressure from long-term holders, as Binance's XRP deposit addresses dropped roughly 96% compared with monthly and quarterly norms.
While this may indicate a shift in sentiment among investors, trading data shows persistent selling pressure. Binance's XRP taker buy/sell ratio fell to its lowest level since May at approximately 0.86, while cumulative volume delta remained negative at around -4.15 million.
