XRP Price Stuck at $1 as Ripple's Partnerships Fail to Spark Rally

XRP's price has remained relatively low at around $1 despite numerous partnerships and integrations by Ripple, its parent company, since 2018. This observation was made on The Paul Barron Show, where a guest pointed out that XRP's value surpassed $3 in 2017 during a period with minimal integration.

The guest expressed uncertainty about what factors might be holding the price back and suggested that Ripple may be intentionally delaying the activation of certain payment corridors until global central bank digital currency (CBDC) infrastructure is ready. This would ensure proper liquidity before significant corridors can go live.

Barron reframed the topic as a matter of execution, indicating that the market might react more strongly once certain macroeconomic or regulatory milestones are achieved, such as policy decisions by the Federal Reserve or the adoption of the CLARITY Act.
