XRP Price Stuck at $1.00 as Institutional Investors Pull Back
XRP's price has been stuck at the $1.00 mark for eight consecutive sessions, closing Monday at $1.01 and barely 1.3 percent above its 52-week low of $0.9887 set on August 15.
The token has shed 45 percent since January 1 and sits 68 percent below its September 14, 2025 peak of $3.18.
Despite institutional investors pulling back, with weekly net inflows into the seven US spot XRP funds collapsing from $14.86 million to just $1.01 million - a 93 percent plunge in a single week - the on-chain picture refuses to align with the institutional mood.
Large wallet addresses are absorbing more than 10 million XRP daily, with outflows from major holders off Binance accounting for 91 percent of all exchange outflows.
The regulatory calendar is also a key factor, with the CLARITY Act - which would settle XRP's commodity status - facing a September 15 vote date after failing to reach the Senate floor before the summer recess.
