XRP Price Surges 7% Amid Whale Activity and Trading Volume Boom
XRP's price jumped nearly 7% to $1.38 over the past 24 hours, fueled by increased whale activity and trading volume.
According to data from CoinGecko, XRP's market cap surged to around $87.96 billion, while its trading volume reached a whopping $3.33 billion within the last day.
The surge in price also spread to the futures market, where trading volume increased by 3.95% to about $4.88 billion, and XRP's futures open interest rose by 7.64% to around $2.97 billion.
Large holders of XRP have been moving their tokens to Binance, with about 1.6 billion XRP transferred over the past 30 days, marking a six-month high in whale activity.
