XRP Price Takes Hit as Institutional Demand Fades and ETF Inflows Plunge

XRP's price has been under pressure due to weakening institutional demand, even as other major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum see increased interest from investors.

Weekly XRP ETF inflows plummeted by 93% to $1.01 million, a significant decline from the previous week's $14.86 million. This drop in investment is causing XRP's total ETF net assets to slip to around $964 million from $988 million, making it the weakest performer among major crypto ETFs.

This contrast with Bitcoin and Ethereum is striking: Bitcoin ETFs saw a massive inflow of $754 million after a previous outflow of $61.53 million, while Ethereum ETFs received about $195 million in new investments, almost seven times more than the previous week's amount.

Crypto analyst Crypto Patel expects XRP to fall another 20%, 40%, targeting $0.85, $0.65 as a potential long-term accumulation zone. However, he remains bullish on XRP's long-term potential and plans to scale into it gradually. Another analyst, ChartNerd, suggests that XRP needs to reclaim the $1.05-$1.06 level before a meaningful relief move can occur.
