XRP Price Targets Require Billions in Exchange Inflows by 2026
XRP analyst Zach Rector has outlined the estimated exchange inflows needed for XRP to hit $5, $10, and $20 by the end of 2026. His analysis compares four different inflow-to-price assumptions, showing how the required capital changes under each scenario. For a $5 XRP target, Rector estimates the market would need between $443 million and $4.4 billion in net exchange inflows, depending on the multiplier applied. The lowest figure comes from a 500x assumption, while the highest stems from a 50x assumption.
For a $10 XRP price, the required inflows range from $1.1 billion to $10.7 billion. The $20 target demands even more, with estimates ranging from $2.3 billion to $23.4 billion. Rector also noted that a $100 XRP scenario would require 10 times the inflows needed for the $10 target, though he cautioned that this is an assumption, not a guaranteed outcome.
Some commentators questioned Rector’s methodology. Kevin Walsh argued that the multiplier remains unproven and highlighted factors like liquidity, selling pressure, and order-book depth as key determinants of price movement. Walsh suggested that a fixed multiplier may not accurately measure the relationship between capital inflows and XRP’s market price.
The analysis underscores the substantial capital required to reach higher XRP price targets, with the final figures varying significantly based on the chosen multiplier. The disclaimer emphasizes that the content reflects the author’s opinion and should not be used as investment advice.
