XRP Price Volatility Looms as CLARITY Act Vote and Fed Rate Decision Approach
Ripple's XRP price is trading near $1.40, but analysts are divided on whether it will rise to $1.60 or drop to $0.80 in the coming weeks.
The uncertainty stems from two key events: the Senate's vote on the CLARITY Act and the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision.
The CLARITY Act, which aims to provide clear rules for cryptocurrencies, is set for a cloture vote on September 15. If it passes, XRP could rise toward $1.40 to $1.60, aligning with its 200-day moving average. However, if the vote gets delayed or fails, XRP price may stay within its established base range of $1.00 to $1.20.
Meanwhile, a hawkish comment from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh on August 28 previously pushed XRP down to $1.36 and wiped out $488 million in leveraged trades in a single day.
