XRP Rich List Update: 8 Million Wallets Reduce Entry Threshold to Top Tier
The XRP Ledger has reached an important milestone: over 8 million wallet addresses. This growth in network participation has made it easier for holders to join the top tier of owners.
Holding 2,151 XRP is now sufficient to place a wallet among the largest holders, down from roughly 4,000 XRP previously required to enter the top 10%. At an XRP price of about $1.15, this amount costs approximately $2,500.
The thresholds have decreased over time as more wallets are created, spreading XRP across a larger number of addresses. As a result, the amount needed to rank among the top holders has fallen. Currently, it takes ~7,500 for the top 5%, ~10,000 for the top 4%, ~14,000 for the top 3%, and ~44,000 for the top 1%.
XRP's market capitalization is still below its previous peak of around $3.50, leaving the token down by roughly 65-70%. According to analyst Crypto AiMan, if XRP's market capitalization were to match Bitcoin's, XRP could trade above $20 per token. However, this is a hypothetical scenario based on market capitalization comparisons and not a price prediction.
The continued growth in network participation may signal stronger adoption and wider token distribution even amid price weakness and market capitalization uncertainty.
