XRP Rockets Amid Market Rebound and New Institutional Listings
A wave of short-covering swept through the crypto market on Tuesday, sending XRP's price up 12% to $1.58.
The token outpaced a broad recovery that saw roughly $648 million in bearish positions liquidated across the market within 24 hours.
XRP climbed comfortably above its 50-day moving average of $1.27, a level it had been flirting with for weeks.
This rally came alongside the launch of perpetual futures on XRP by Moscow Exchange, Russia's largest trading venue.
The Moscow Exchange contract, denominated in US dollars and settling in Russian rubles, is restricted to qualified investors only.
