XRP RSI Hits Record Low as Token Trades Near Critical Support

XRP's Relative Strength Index (RSI) has hit its lowest level in 13 years, according to analyst Cryptollica. The token's two-week RSI reading of 33.5 is lower than during previous market downturns, including the 2018 bear market and the March 2020 COVID crash.

Despite the extreme momentum reading, XRP remains above a long-term technical structure that has supported the asset through multiple crypto cycles. The token's price currently trades around $1.30 after a sharp correction earlier this week.

The analyst notes that an extreme RSI does not guarantee a bottom and that confirmation from the price chart is critical. A sustained weekly break below the 20-week EMA near $1.29 could expose XRP to a deeper decline toward the psychological $1.00 area.
