XRP Scam Alert: Be Cautious of Fake 'Rewards Scanner' Campaigns

The XRP Ledger Foundation has issued an urgent warning about a scam targeting XRP holders. The scammers are promoting fake 'XRP Rewards Scanner' campaigns that claim Ripple is helping users recover unclaimed XRP through wallet scans.

The Foundation made it clear that neither the XRP Ledger Foundation, Ripple, nor any legitimate XRP wallet provider is offering XRP airdrops or rewards, and users should not share their wallet credentials. Phishing attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated on X, with scammers impersonating trusted organizations and tagging users in fraudulent posts.

RippleX also debunked claims that Ripple is operating an 'XRP Rewards Scanner' or allowing users to claim unclaimed XRP by connecting their wallets. Users are advised to verify announcements only through official Ripple and XRP Ledger channels before clicking links, connecting wallets, or signing transactions.
