XRP Soars 44% on Institutional Inflows and Korean Trading Frenzy
XRP has surged by an impressive 43.7% in just one week, outpacing every other top-10 cryptocurrency by market capitalization. This significant gain is largely attributed to institutional ETF inflows and heavy South Korean spot trading activity.
U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds have recorded six consecutive sessions of net inflows from August 18 to August 25, pulling in a combined $77.47 million. The streak peaked with $23.87 million in net inflows on August 25, pushing total ETF net assets from $941.41 million to $1.46 billion.
The latest buying extends a longer institutional trend, with cumulative ETF inflows recently reaching a record $1.55 billion. Goldman Sachs also disclosed $86.5 million of exposure across five XRP ETFs in its second-quarter regulatory filing.
