XRP Spot ETFs Hit Record $1.7B Inflows as XRP Struggles Below $1.40
The spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have attracted over $1.7 billion in inflows, marking another all-time high and extending their net inflow lead.
This milestone was reached after nine consecutive weeks of green performance, with the ETFs attracting nearly $19 million in the last week alone, similar to the previous week.
The underlying asset, XRP, has struggled to breakout above the crucial $1.40 resistance level, despite positive ETF flows. On August 22, it surged by 70% in under 72 hours but was quickly rejected and driven southwards.
Crypto analysts are now divided on its short-term potential, with some warning of a possible downtrend due to whale profit-taking and decreased network activity, while others point to historical patterns that could lead to a significant surge.
