$XRP Still Struggling to Reach $10 Target Nine Years After Original Forecasts
The $10 target for XRP has yet to be met nearly nine years after it was first forecast in 2017. At that time, a Reddit discussion on r/Ripple forum outlined scenarios where XRP could exceed $10, with some participants predicting it would reach $10 by December 2018.
The forecasts followed a significant price gain for XRP, which rose by 29,631% in the fourth quarter of 2017. However, Ripple's markets report noted that company partnerships mentioned during this period did not involve XRP itself.
Fast forward to 2026, and some influencers are still predicting XRP will reach $10. Ash Crypto has included a $10 target in his market outlook alongside forecasts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. However, none of these predictions have materialized so far.
The circulating supply of XRP has increased by around 62.3% since the original forecasts, which would imply a larger market capitalization if the $10 price target were to be met.
