XRP Surges 24% to Top Gains Among Top Cryptocurrencies

XRP has seen a significant surge in value over the past day, rising as much as 24% at one point to post the biggest gain among top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value. This price increase also puts XRP on track for a 31% gain over the past seven days, maintaining its bullish trend.

Other major altcoins such as Hyperliquid (HYPE), Ethena (ENA), and Pumpfun (PUMP) have also seen double-digit gains, but XRP's jump has been the most notable. The cryptocurrency currently ranks fifth among those with a market value of about $79.15 billion.

The 24-hour trading volume for XRP was around $6.34 billion, with South Korean investors playing a significant role in its rise. On Upbit, XRP's 24-hour trading volume topped $399 million, and the cryptocurrency has also shown strong trading demand among South Korean retail investors.
