XRP Surges Past $1.38 as Ripple Integrates With Stripe Payment Tools
Ripple's XRP token has gained momentum in recent days, rising to $1.38 on CoinGecko after a 2% increase over the past week.
The surge is attributed to Ripple's integration with Stripe's payment tools, which allows AI agents to pay for data and services using XRP and RLUSD through the Machine Payments Protocol.
On September 17, Ripple shipped version 1.1 of its XRPL Starter Kit, connecting XRP to the Machine Payments Protocol built by Stripe and Tempo.
The update adds two key infrastructure pieces: MPP support and the Open Wallet Standard, enabling software to manage wallets across multiple blockchains through one interface.
